Local Public Lands Legislation & More

Regressive Local Legislation – Beware!

SJR7: Transfer America’s public lands in Nevada into state control for sale.

Click here for hearing updates and more on SJR7.

SJR1’s younger cousin has been introduced by Senate and Assembly Republicans. America’s public lands in Nevada – our National Parks and National Forests and hiking and hunting grounds – belong to the American people, and are held in trust and managed by the federal government for the people.

Sponsors and supporters of SJR1 and SJR7 flat out admit as soon as the state gets its hand on the lands, it will sell off much of it. Nevada isn’t equipped to manage over 85% of the state.

Click here – it takes just 90 seconds – to tell our legislators you oppose SJR7 and Nevada should keep public lands in public hands.

America’s public lands in Nevada are majestic!
